A documentary for Kew Gardens explaining the importance of taxonomy (naming and categorising) in the natural world, as well as their unique efforts to continue that into the digital age.
Working closely with taxonomists, researchers and other good eggs at Kew, we aimed to show the depth of knowledge behind closed doors at the Gardens. They are on the frontline helping to preserve and further our understanding of the natural world, networking with hundreds of botanists around the world.
I directed, shot and edited the film. I wanted the content and style to reflect Kew’s spirit of collaboration, so it features a wide cast of generous camera-shy souls.
